2. Purpose of Collection

ADS K9 collects personal information solely for the following purposes:

  • Responding to service enquiries and providing security service proposals.
  • Entering into and administering contracts for security services.
  • Communicating with clients, prospective clients and business partners.
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to PSIRA-registered security service providers.
  • Employment and staff management purposes (for employee data).

3. Categories of Personal Information

We may process the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifying information — full name, ID number, company name.
  • Contact details — telephone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses.
  • Operational information — site details provided for security assessments.
  • Employment information — for current and prospective employees.

4. Lawful Grounds for Processing

We process personal information on the following lawful grounds as provided in POPIA:

  • Consent of the data subject.
  • Necessity to carry out a contract with the data subject.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation.
  • Legitimate interests of ADS K9 that do not override the rights of the data subject.

7. Cross-Border Transfers
